I am the mother of two beautiful girls who have inspired me to support others as they transition into motherhood.

For my first birth my husband and I decided not to hire a doula as we wanted him to be my support person. Once she was born, we both turned to each other and said "we should have gotten a doula!" We both came away wishing we had had the physical, emotional, and informational support of a doula while navigating the challenging process of bringing life into the world.

We did it all differently the second time around and having additional support around the birth made such a difference in both my husband's and my experiences.

I now want to pass along the peace and confidence a doula brings to new parents.
